Swimming Pools
Do you have a neighborhood pool? The few that come to mind are SPAR, BAFB, TwelveOaks, TownSouth Swim Club and SouthSide Swim Club. If one of these isn't near, country clubs also offer summer pool memberships for fees. View a list of area Swimming Pools.

Swimming Lessons
Private and group Swimming Lessons are offered at most area pools.
*Note: Broadmoor YMCA will not be offering swimming lessons this summer due to construction.

Area Lake Beaches
There are many nearby lakes with wonderful sand and dirt beaches for you and the little ones to dig. We recommend Cypress Black Bayou Recreation Area (Benton), Lake Claiborne (Homer/Haynesville), & Lake of the Pines (Marshall,TX). View a listing of area Parks & Lakes.

With high gas prices, it can be economical to plan short vacations or day trips for the family.
