This event in FREE. Park at Mall St. Vincent and ride the FREE shuttle right to Betty Virginia Park.

The trails around Betty Virginia Park at the corner of Line Avenue and Ockley in Shreveport will glow with the light of nearly 1,000 jack‐o‐lanterns carved by children, classes and families. The rain date is Thursday, October 29, at the same time.

Pizza, soft drinks and other concessions will be available. Proceeds from the concessions, donated by the parents of Southfield School, go back into beautifying and updating Betty Virginia Park.

Pumpkin Entry:
To enter a pumpkin, bring your carved or decorated creations to the park, located on Line Avenue at Ockley Drive, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Volunteers from Southfield School will be organizing the arrangement and lighting of pumpkins around the park's walkways.
